This story should not exist because this should not be controversial, but because the left believes no human is illegal, here we are, as a communist mayor advocates for the fake special privileges of foreign nationals over the interests of the American people. But what else is new?

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is suing the Trump administration because it plans to consider immigrants’ use of benefits when reviewing green card applications. And again, the fact that this is somehow worthy of a lawsuit tells you how little the left fights for you, the American people.

According to Fox News:

The lawsuit, filed jointly with NY Attorney General Letitia James, targets the Trump administration's plan to expand the "public charge" rule, which allows the federal government to deny visa applications based on the likelihood that the applicant will receive public benefits. Trump's administration seeks to expand the list of benefits that apply under the rule, with the change taking effect Sept. 18.

Do you need any more proof that these people hate you?

"If you are a citizen, or an individual seeking humanitarian relief like asylum, these changes will not affect you," Mamdani said at a press conference Monday. "The new public charge rule not only sweeps aside more than a century of established law, it is intentionally vague as a means of creating uncertainty and fear to isolate immigrant New Yorkers."

Maybe it was unclear to the mayor, but his job is to represent the citizens of New York, not foreigners. And him fighting to ensure YOUR tax dollars are used to fund welfare for foreign nationals, despite YOU struggling to make ends meet, proves just how little he cares to make Americans better off. The fact that there is not more outrage over this is a problem.

Maybe, just maybe, one day this man will fight for New Yorkers the way he does for foreigners demanding welfare, but until then, this is the best he has got. Totally unacceptable.
