According to Zohran Mamdani, the President of the United States has directed ICE agents to snatch “immigrant neighbors from our city in broad daylight.” He added that this is an “authoritarian administration running a scorched-earth campaign of retribution against anyone who dares oppose them,” which, he claims, includes trans people because they “dare to be themselves.” However, if that were true, why hasn’t it actually happened? That is something Mamdani will likely never be able to fully explain — but he believes it to be a winning campaign strategy.

Firstly, why does every leftist always have to make a big chunk of their campaign about opposing Trump? Why can’t they just focus on what they believe is best for New Yorkers? And do they even believe these claims? Mamdani’s statements suggest that the President of the United States is kidnapping legal citizens and residents, which is simply not true. Anyone who has entered and stayed in this country legally has nothing to fear, especially considering this administration is targeting those who have broken federal immigration law. But this is what the left does: they use the terms “legal” and “illegal” immigrants interchangeably. Why they do this is unclear, but it may very well have something to do with instilling fear in the most naive segments of their voting base.

It’s also pretty rich that he claims this administration is going after his political opponents when he sat by and said nothing as the left did exactly the same thing. But this is precisely why we have the saying: “If the left didn’t have double standards, they would have none at all.” They don’t care about a fair system — so long as it works in their favor. But when that treatment is returned to them, well, Houston, that’s when suddenly there’s a problem.

The worst part about this video isn’t just the lies — it’s that this man will likely become the next mayor of New York City, and there’s no scarier thought than that. It’s unclear exactly what will happen to the city if he’s elected, but we can be certain everyone will be worse off. And to call that predictable would be an understatement.
