We've been keeping you up to speed on Kid Rock's alleged run for the Senate, and all its hilariousness. Nobody is entirely sure if the run is even real or not. Whatever, he's already running a winning campaign, if only for the entertainment value. The funniest thing of all? Leftists being forced to view the rapper/rocker/country singer as a serious threat. In fact, they're already pulling out the big guns, accusing the Kid of breaking campaign laws. For reals.

As Mr. Rock astutely remarked before suggesting the haters make love to themselves, he hasn't even made his "candidacy" official. We have no idea if he's for serious, or if this whole thing is just an epic troll. Aside from throwing a couple new items in his merch store, Kid has yet to make any political moves. The last time I checked, there aren't any laws against printing some words on a t-shirt.

On the surface, Kid's response might seem less-than-professional and not too gentlemanly. If you one of the people who feel that way, you're not wrong. But, you've got to give the guy some credit. He's straightforward. Lots of people are willing to get behind that kind of candidate. One might even argue an entire presidency was won on that trait alone. So, you can understand why leftists would be taking Rock's run very seriously.

You know the left is falling apart when this is a fight they pick. Five years ago, when leftists were riding high, they would have brushed the Detroit Cowboy off without a second thought. Now that they're nosediving straight into the abyss, leftists have to dig deep into their bag of tricks to keep the "Bawitdaba" guy off the throne. Shows you just how far they've fallen. So sad.
