WATCH: Kelsey Grammer Praises Trump's Disruption of Washington DC
Of all the people who hung out at Cheers, the one you'd least assume was a conservative was Dr. Fraiser Crane. Yet, Kelsey Grammer is one of those rarities. A Hollywood actor who vocally right-leaning (see Patricia Heaton UNLOADS on Jack Dorsey Over Twitter’s Censoring of Movie and WATCH: Dean Cain Talks Scary New York, Vermont Abortion Laws, Gosnell).
During an interview with Grammer, the interviewer tried getting him to rag on the Donald. Or at least Trump's "disruption" of Washington DC. Kelsey wasn't having it:
I don’t think Washington didn't do us any favors for the last 50, 60 years, I think they’ve all been sort of the same party, the same bunch of clowns, the same bunch of really unpleasant people. And I don't think they've been helping anybody but themselves.
Yep, he served that slice of truth up with some tossed salads and scrambled eggs.
There's not really any arguing Kelsey on this one. Even those of us who are Trump agnostics admit he's done plenty of good. If the swamp creatures in DC are upset about it, meh. I don't usually buy into the idea of knowing something is good "if the right are people upset." Though, in this particular case, the people upset are in fact the right people.
This isn't to say the president couldn't use a little more self-control. Or maybe a lot more. Logging off from the Twittersphere and going for a walk in the Rose Garden wouldn't be such a bad thing. Still, at least the Donald says exactly what he's thinking. As opposed to all the lying, dunderheaded douchenuggets inhabiting the District of Columbia.
All in all, Trumpy is who he is and all of his current 2020 opponents are lefty extremists. So, I think I'm gonna stick with the orange man for the time being.
