It's been a year of lessons for Joey Swoll. The fitness influencer who shames people for shaming people at the gym was introduced to "cancel culture" this year when he said something nice about Hulk Hogan upon his passing. Swoll was unaware of everything Hogan had ever said, so when people attacked Swoll, he made the mistake of apologizing and discovered that when you do, those same people will attack you more because they want your scalp.

It's a good thing Swoll went through this trial and tribulation. It prepared him for stepping on the landmine that is the belief that men should not be allowed in the women's locker room.

To recap, a woman -- for the sake of this story, who also happens to be a black lesbian -- was upset to see what she believed to be a man with a male penis in the women's locker room. That male claims to be a woman, which in the eyes of the left and the media (but I repeat myself) means a) trans outranks black lesbian on the pound-for-pound most marginalized rankings, and b) it was a woman's penis. The woman was banned from the gym.

Oh, and a tiny detail about the woman who used to be a man from back when he was still a man and not claiming to be a woman:

The transgender person caught up in a viral Los Angeles gym bathroom row had been convicted of assaulting their now ex-wife while living in Ohio as a man — before taking the victim’s first name as their own.

Black, formerly Grant Freeman, pleaded guilty in 2022 to savagely beating his wife Alexis Freeman, causing a compound fractured jaw among other serious injuries.“

Oh.

Swoll defended the woman -- who, again, for the sake of this story, is a black lesbian -- saying that: "It’s very clear that there are men taking advantage of exploiting current laws and women are not safe even in their own spaces and locker rooms. This stops NOW. Women deserve to feel safe, and men do not belong in the women’s locker rooms. PERIOD."

He is, of course, now being attacked for it for being transphobic. However, taking the lessons he learned from the Hulk Hogan brouhaha, he's not backing down this time.

Good for Joey Swoll. Others have been on the wrong end of the left's outrage before, and were never heard from again. Swoll used it as a teachable moment. People should take notes.
