Watch: India Is Not What Built America
Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!
In North Carolina, Indians are building a “155-foot statue of Lord Murugan, the Hindu god of war,” making this “the world’s tallest Murugan statue.” And in case you’ve been living under a rock, the United States did not become great by embracing all cultures. It did so through a shared culture built on reason and faith. While a new foreign monument might be coming to a town near you, this does not change the fact that it does nothing to enhance American greatness. Gerald A broke this down on yesterday’s show.
According to the developers' website, the Carolina Murugan Temple''s "vision is to build a landmark to bring unique Spiritual, Cultural and Language experience representing World Tamils. Language is the bridge to connecting our generation to the next generation and preserving our identity and culture. This site will have the Lord Murugan Temple, the world tallest Murugan statue, the World Tamil Cultural Museum, and the World Tamil Library to showcase our spiritual culture, language and tradition."
“We have an unrecognizable America that does not look anything like it did 10, 15, 20 years ago,” Gerald A said. “Not because there are people who are brown but because it does not look or feel like America.”
In several places in the U.S., speakers blast Muslim calls to prayer daily, starting as early as 4:38 a.m.
“This is not like church bells,” Gerald A said. “I understand you have the right to practice your religion, but that does not mean we are not a Christian nation.”
According to the New York Times, Today, across the Indian government and business sector, a movement is gaining steam to begin exporting more workers. The idea, which economists call labor mobility, is to connect young Indians to companies in places with shrinking populations where labor shortages are holding back growth.
“The world is a better place because of America,” Gerald A said. “I cannot say it is a better place because of Islam or because of India. Go make those countries a better place so that they, too, can be a light to the world.”
