Leftist thought (if that's what you'd call it) is a labyrinthian mish-mash of kooky ideas. All too often, a pair of those ideas contradict one another and further prove to everyone why progressivism is little more than hokey nonsense. Right up there with basing your daily routine on what a stranger has written about the month you were born.

The Huffington Post took to the Twittersphere to celebrate DNA evidence that female Vikings were a thing.

I know what you're thinking. Did they really just assume the Viking warrior's gender?

It's (insert current year), guys. That mode of thinking is wildly outdated and offensive. Even illegal in some places. I never realized HuffPo was a mouthpiece for cis-normative, transphobic bigots.

HuffPo was so eager to jump into feminist "GIRL POWER!" mode, they forgot DNA has nothing to do with your gender. At least, according to them anyway. To the left, you may have a Y-chromosome and a dangle. But, throw on a dress and change your name to Stephanie? You're as much a woman as Marilyn Monroe. Don't blame us. Leftists are the ones who made this crap-ola up in the first place. Then sold it to the rest of us as non-GMO kale.

The left should just admit what the rest of us already know. They have no real beliefs. They're only in favor of whatever advances their agenda at the given moment. When science lines up with their political leanings, they're its biggest fans. "A female Viking? YES PLEASE!" When basic biology says there are two genders? "Begone with your chromosomes, you transphobe! All that matters is what you feel on the inside. Call me a 'she' you bigot, or I'll smash your face!"

Let's face it, leftists don't give a stale toot about science unless it confirms their worldview. Apart from that, they're just making things up.
