The View’s Sunny Hostin once again went on live TV to pretend she and her family are victims of some invisible evil — and, ironically, she gets paid for saying these things. In fact, she makes more money than the majority of people can even imagine — including the very people she portrays as victimizers.
According to Hostin, she knows — and I mean she definitely knows — “that Black boys are not given the presumption of innocence and the presumption of youth.” She knows this because she has Black children, whom she claims have been victims of invisible racism. And even though that racism never happened, she decided to be proactive just in case said racism happens. This is why she went to her local police department to tell them that her son belongs to her. She did this because her son was training for a marathon in an “all-white neighborhood.” And while she would like to claim to be the victim of a hate crime that has yet to happen — at least according to this story — it’s safe to assume she has more money than the majority of her “white neighbors.” But you know, she’s “oppressed” or whatever.
Did that make sense? It shouldn’t — because nothing that comes out of this woman’s mouth makes sense. She literally has a spot on a national TV show — a very bad one — has millions of dollars to her name, and still wants to cry victim. That’s how irrelevant she is, and how badly she needs the spotlight on her.
Like, what? Were we supposed to feel bad after hearing this? Because I assure you, Sunny and her children are more well off than the majority of Americans — and it’s astonishing the lengths she’ll go to pretend otherwise.
You wanna know the most bizarre thing about this? If her son were truly in danger, she could just move — she certainly has the means and funds to do so. It’s unclear why she stays in a neighborhood that’s supposedly so dangerous for her kids, but I digress.
If I didn’t know any better, I might say this story is a total lie — but I do know better, so I will not be saying that.
