TRIGGERED: Harvard Caves, Removes 'Master' From Job Titles...
If we've learned anything from the past few university tantrums, it's that when college students demand something, they always have a terrible reason for it (see Wimpy College Leftists Want This Professor Fired For the Lamest Reason). Or no reason at all. Still trying to figure out what actually happened at Mizzou.
Need a good laugh? Read on. Spineless Ivy Leaguers are seeking to eradicate the word "master" from all of Harvard's official titles. And probably the entire world, if they get their way.
Harvard University has confirmed they will abolish the word master from academic titles due to its racist connotations and links to slavery and are considering changing their official seal. The decision came after [College Dean] Mr. Khurana previously told students that a committee will 'suggest a new title that reflects the current realities of the role' over the coming weeks. 'I have not felt comfortable personally with the title,' he told the college newspaper.
These entitled basket cases never learned that words can't physically harm anyone. Even if there ever was a time where this could have been relevant, it was long ago. That window of opportunity closed last century. You know, when systematic injustices were actually being committed and diversity quotas were unheard of. Now all we have is microaggressions and minority scholarships. Which is what you get when you cave to every liberal whim in an effort to appease these looney-tunes...
Yale's president Peter Salovey also said that he had been discussing whether to make a change to remove the word 'master' from titles since the beginning of the school year. Other universities have lost members of staff under the pressure of the protests. The president and chancellor of the University of Missouri both stepped down as a result: 'This is not a day care centre. It is a university.'
No, it is a day care center. Universities died long ago.
Mizzou's leadership makes a good point, though. Raging SJWs have molded into a giant monster blob, absorbing or destroying anything in its way. In this case, a word. And by destroy I mean sitting in a corner and crying until someone wraps them in a security blanket and fixes everything. Thumb-sucking optional. Unless we're talking about a BlackLivesMatter protest, then you can expect lots of damage, crying, and figurative thumb-sucking.
Ever notice how the left is constantly having to come up with imaginary sources of racism or sexism to project all their fears onto? It's pretty telling. Actual racism? That's getting harder and harder to find...
Speaking of college students who can't handle words...
