In under 80 seconds, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said how proud he was of Sleepy Joe Biden at least four times. This is because he’s just oh so “proud of the fact that [he] stood up for him,” while also being “proud of the fact that he was our president,” and he was just so “proud to go out there and support him."

In other words, he was very, very “proud.”

He was “proud” to have stood by a sleeping potato of a president and “proud” that a man with alleged dementia was representing this country and “proud” to stand behind the man responsible for some of the worst inflation American has seen in recent years and “PROUD” to stand behind the man who created the worst border crises in American history.

I don't know what flex he thinks this is, but I don't think it will help him win over swing voters when he runs for POTUS.

Not only is it not a smart political move to stand by the guy who has done more damage to this country since Obama, but it's unclear what he is even trying to convey.

He was proud of Biden, but was he proud of Kamala when she stole the candidacy from him? Because Newsom spends nearly half his time talking about preserving democracy, but we can almost be certain he would never admit that it was his side that created the most undemocratic election in American history.

What “results” is he even talking about? Because again, the best we got was Americans struggling to make ends meet, and millions and millions of foreign nationals that nobody wanted. And while I agree that he will go down as “one of the most consequential presidents of the century,” it’s anything but positive consequences. And the fact that he’s proud of any of that proves just how unfit he is to serve the presidency.

I think most people reading this can think of a lot of ways to describe Biden’s first and last term as president, but “proud” does not even come close.
