Women should never acquiesce to a blatant denial of science that is used to justify a disregard for fairness to females.

In order to end athletic fraud, women need to start refusing to compete against males. But that is easier said than done as it takes a lot of courage to walk away from something you have dedicated so much of your life to.

A female pool player forfeited the final of a tournament after choosing to walk away rather than face her male opponent on Sunday, with the crowd subsequently cheering her protest.

Lynne Pinches ceded before the first break at the Women's Champions tournament in Wales. She walked away after she was expected to compete against Chris "Harriet" Haynes.

Hopefully, her bravery encourages others to take a stand.

In August, with increasing numbers of male players applying in women's tournaments, the Ultimate Pool Group ruled that “these events will be exclusively open to individuals who are born female.”

However, the Ultimate Pool Group decided they cared more about pandering to misogynists and issued updated competition eligibility for trans players last month.

“Providing regulatory conditions are met under section four, transgender and non-binary players will be able to participate in the women’s series across World Eightball Pool Federation and Ultimate Pool Group events,” the guidelines stated.

Dozens of female players have been rebelling against the male players who are playing in the women's leagues.

“When I heard the announcement last week, I spent most of the day in tears - especially because it came after the announcement eight weeks earlier that it was finally going to be a fair field,” Pinches said, according to a prior article in the Daily Mail.

Many players argued that “trans” players (men), have a physical advantage, which has the potential to dictate the entire game, according to the Daily Mail.

They also can play games at a faster pace and have an extended reach when taking shots.

This is an unfair attack against women as they are forced to walk away from a sport they love in an attempt to regain the fairness they once had. Players have to be extremely dedicated and work very hard to achieve this status. Yet, all of that is being stolen from that by men committing blatant athletic fraud.

It is a fundamental injustice to allow males to compete against females in any sport. But anything for "inclusion," right?
