As we learn more about the WuHuFlu, we're learning it's for sure more flu than plague, more bad cough than contagion, more overblown hype that probably didn't warrant shutting down the global economy. Yeah, yeah, I've pounded this point pretty hard lately but that's only because people's lives have been severely damaged over an illness that isn't panning out the way the pandemic hyper-ventilators had guessed. That's right, the initial model this entire fiasco was based upon just got revised. Dr. Birx explained what this means in today's coronavirus press conference.

The report Dr. Birx is referring to is this one, the one that called for 500k deaths initially, but then rolled it back to 20k. That's what we might say is statistically significant.

Alex Berenson points out many of the people affected and who may have perished from the Kung Flu probably would've perished regardless of COVID-19 because of their current health: not good. Which actually lends me to believe, and this is just my opinion now, the disease seems kind of weak. We're talking about a flu that mildly affects the healthy to the point many don't even have symptoms, and only takes down the very old and/or very sick.

I was sick twice in a short period of time. Once in December, shortly after seeing a play on Black Friday, then in middle of January after returning from a trip in Dallas. I am convinced I, like many other people, possibly even you, have already had the Wuhan cough. Yeah, it was a cough. It was otherwise mild. Just as doctors have said.

My opinion on this is clear (ENOUGH: The COVID-19 Panic is Insane and Destroying Our Way of Life!) but what do you think. Was all this worth it?

Bearing in mind, of course, that the regular seasonal flu can kill thousands during flu season. Do you know how many people, not just old, died in 2018-2019 season in the United States? I googled it for you. From the CDC:

CDC estimates that the burden of illness during the 2018–2019 season included an estimated 35.5 million people getting sick with influenza, 16.5 million people going to a health care provider for their illness, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths from influenza (Table 1). The number of influenza-associated illnesses that occurred last season was similar to the estimated number of influenza-associated illnesses during the 2012–2013 influenza season when an estimated 34 million people had symptomatic influenza illness⁶.

I bolded that text. 34,200 deaths in the United States alone. And yet we didn't shut down one single thing.
