Joy Reid found a new non-racist thing to cry racism about, and it's a popular Christmas carol

According to Joy Reid, the Christmas song “Jingle Bells” was produced to make fun of Black people. Unclear how she gets these ideas into her head, but the woman is clearly unwell.

According to the New York Post:
Fired MSNBC host Joy Reid played Grinch on social media this week, sharing a video claiming beloved Christmas anthem “Jingle Bells” was written “to make fun of black people.”
In the video she shared to her 1.3 million Instagram followers, a man in a Christmas sweater and Santa hat stands on the streets of Medford, Massachusetts near a plaque marking the site where James Lord Pierpont is believed to have penned the song in 1850.
He takes off his hat disapprovingly and scowls at the plaque, the video caption reading “this is where a racist Confederate soldier wrote ‘Jingle Bells’ to make fun of black people, and has its origins in bigoted minstrel shows that were popular at the time.
Call me crazy, but I was under the impression that the song was about a sleigh ride. I don't know. I guess I could be wrong here, but I digress.
It alleges that the lyrics “laughing all the way” in the song “likely” is a reference to a racist comedic routine of the day known as the “Laughing Darkie.”
Does she have any evidence to back up that claim? No? I didn't think so.
Does she really think this is about making fun of Black people?

The whole leftist despising Christmas thing is getting far too old. The reason the season is so popular is that it brings joy to most people. I say most because people like Reid are very miserable individuals, and they thrive on taking joy away from others.
Oh, so you thought you could enjoy a Christmas tune with your kids? Think again. That's racist by leftist standards. And even though these things are nowhere near racist, that won't stop people like her from pretending to know a thing or two about a thing or two.
People don't play this song because they wish to mock Black people. That's not a thing, and crossed no one's mind until she opened her mouth. This is precisely why her show was canceled, as even the most left-leaning leftist can't get behind such nonsense.
Some songs are not racist, and the sooner she stops acting like everything in existence is, the better the Christmas season will be for her. Until then, Merry Christmas, folks.
