Reporter expects Mexican NBA star to praise Bad Bunny's Super Bowl show, gets shocked by his blunt response

Devin Booker had a very interesting response on Bad Bunny’s halftime show:

In the two thousandth and twenty-sixth year of Donald Trump's America, sports and entertainment reporters care less about sports and entertainment as much as they do about signalling their virtue with regurgitated progressivism. The new standard of righteousness this week is having an opinion about Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl. If I can offer a piece of advice to potential journalismers, learn the difference between "Mexican" and "Puerto Rican" when interviewing a Hispanic athlete. Just ask NBA star Devin Booker.
I'll be honest, outside of the streets saying All-Star Weekend isn't what it used to be, I haven't followed the NBA much since Jordan's second retirement. Or, occasionally when LeBron says something stupid, but that's less about ball as much as these clicks not baiting themselves.
After the game, Booker was asked to opine on the awesomeness of Bad Bunny. It's hard to make out the question. The reporter -- I detect a little Becky in her voice -- asked something about the Grammys being a milestone. Note: the Grammys have to do with music, not basketball. Then she asked, for the "fans of Puerto Rico," what the Phoenix Suns Guard thought of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance.
I'm Mexican.
The reporter started to say "I know," and sounded like she was about to lecture him about joy and love being stronger than hate. If she were lucky, she might have gotten him to say something political. It didn't quite work out like that.
I didn't watch it, to be completely honest.
They rapidly moved on to the next question. To quote Bruno Gianelli, I love it when the women get involved. Not that liberal male reporters are much better. My favorite is still the one who demanded the Calgary Flames denounce Jordan Peterson because he was booked in the same venue where they play hockey. But when Karen or Becky with an "I" gets shut down on their desperate attempts to score woke points, there's something a little extra about it.

In fairness, apparently, Booker and Bunny both dated Kendall Jenner, and his comments are being framed by some one the internet as "reigniting their beef." Or, it could have been that Booker didn't have an opinion on the show and didn't care. Either way, having the "right" opinion on Bad Bunny is the new way for the media to judge whether you are good or not.
