"Dumb and Dumber" actor still freaking out over Donald Trump "poop" video, tries comparing it to Abraham Lincoln

NEW: Dumb and Dumber star Jeff Daniels says he was sickened by Trump's poop video, asks if Abraham Lincoln would have shared it before serenading Nicolle Wallace with his guitar.
Daniels played Wallace a song he wrote that helps him "cope."

Oh, look — it’s Dumb and Dumber. Unclear who is dumber, but I’d bet it’s the one who gaslights America for a living.
Dumb and Dumber star Jeff Daniels expressed his disappointment in the Trump administration — specifically taking aim at an AI-generated video Trump shared of him wearing a crown and throwing poop in a fighter jet at Harry Sisson and other protesters. This is what rational people call a “joke,” but people like Nicolle Wallace and Daniels can’t seem to take said joke, which is ironic, considering he’s played comedic roles in the past. But I digress.
I will, however, say that the song was not half bad — I said half bad. It was sort of on the cringe side, but I can see the appeal if you’re into the whole “no kings” protest thing. Nonetheless, that does not make his message any less pathetic.

“Would Lincoln have done that?” Daniels questioned, to which Wallace responded, “I don’t think Nixon would’ve done that.”
According to Daniels, “Nixon wouldn’t have done it. Reagan wouldn’t have done it. Bush wouldn’t have done it, either Bush.”
According to The Hill:
“I think people in the Midwest, where I am … we value our decency and our civility,” Daniels, who grew up in Michigan and founded a theater company in the Great Lake state, said.
“We don’t get taken with whatever goes on on the coast. We got a chip on our shoulder about that.”
“Down the road, if [Trump] doesn’t deliver on the economy like he promised he would, then that stuff will start to add up. And they’ll get tired of it, and they’ll vote for change,” Daniels said.
You can say this about any president — this is nothing short of a superficial statement about a man he does not like, for reasons that will never be logical.
You could have easily said the same thing about Biden: “If [Biden or Kamala] doesn’t deliver on the economy like he promised he would, then that stuff will start to add up.”
Like, what?? Yeah, things don’t add up when the economy is bad. What else is new?
Saying that every generation changes things, Daniels told Wallace that voters “wanted things to get solved economically. But I think when it comes to decency and civility and respect for the rule of law, which governs all of us, whether we’re left or right, will matter again.”
No one cares about AI-generated content or this fake sense of “decency and civility” these leftists whine about. At the end of the day, the average Joe wants to make ends meet. That’s it. It’s not that deep. People will take AI-generated content over the former root vegetable of an auto pen any day. And the fact that they fail to see that proves just how out of touch these people are.
So, while Daniels would like you to believe he’s just as Midwest as the next Midwesterner, it’s pretty clear he’s just another Hollywood actor who thinks he knows a thing or two about a thing or two. And, well — let’s just say he should stick to acting.
