One of the many problems with the COVID fear mongering was that it turned many people agoraphobic. That is a scandal in itself. The other problem with this is that when parents are afraid to leave the house based on the invisible sniffles, it traumatizes children. One couple in Spain took social distancing so extreme that they have just been convicted of child abuse.

Parents kept their healthy children on a COVID lockdown for four years. They have just been sentenced to three years in prison. It is unclear why their lockdown is shorter than the one they forced on their vulnerable children.

According to the Daily Mail:

German freelance tech recruiter Christian Steffen, 53, and his American-born wife Melissa Ann Steffen, 48, were today handed their sentences following a behind-closed-doors trial in the northern Spanish city of Oviedo, where they lived.

There, the couple kept their three young children - a then-ten-year-old and twins aged eight at the time - inside a squalid home for nearly four years between December 2021 when they arrived in Spain and April 28, 2025, claiming the kids needed to be protected from the Covid-19 pandemic.

But the couple's children were left with severe mental and physical health problems after being kept from society for years on end, prosecutors said.

The type of conditions the parents subjected their kids to is straight out of a horror movie, which is precisely why the homes have been dubbed the Spanish “House of Horrors.”

Police found soiled nappies and used sanitary towels and tampons dumped around the house, and worktops covered in animal excrement.

Officials said the children faced problems with bladder and bowel control, as well as bowed legs caused by years of being kept in tiny beds too small for their growing bodies.

Investigators found disturbing scrawls created by the children on the inside of their cots, showing monsters with jagged teeth in red ink.

The parents believed this was safer than a cold. The virus was so mild for most people, especially children, that many people allegedly did not even know they were exposed to it. In other words, you had to be tested to know you were “infected.” These kids, however, were certainly well aware of the horrors they were forced to endure, and the fact that they will have to live with that trauma for the rest of their lives is infuriating.

Had the kids gotten COVID, nothing would likely have happened to them. However, because their parents were so brainwashed by propaganda, they subjected their kids to trauma that is straight out of a dystopian novel. The COVID fear-mongering was truly that evil.
