Cop gets busted shoplifting while ON DUTY, gets arrested and taken away in her own squad car
Bad cops, bad cops. Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
It’s one thing to get arrested as a cop. But that does not compare to getting arrested while in uniform. But none of that compares to getting arrested in uniform and getting taken away in your police cruiser. And that story is exactly what we have for you.
A female officer was on duty when she stole a pair of shoes worth $140 from Dick's Sporting Goods.
A Mississippi cop was caught shoplifting on duty from a Dick's Sporting Goods while wearing her police uniform.
Robin Conner, 33, was arrested on Wednesday after she allegedly shoplifted a pair of $140 shoes from the retailer.
Conner has worked as a police officer with the Columbus Police force for two years and she was on duty at the time of the alleged crime, Police Chief Joseph Daughtry confirmed.
The alleged thief was in uniform and driving a police cruiser during her shoplifting spree.
Officers were called to the Dick's Sporting Goods in Columbus at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Conner was charged with misdemeanor shoplifting for stealing goods worth less than $1,000.
Conner was given a $862 surety bond and has been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
You would think by some of her social media posts that she takes great pride in enforcing the law. But I guess that is only true when it comes to the enforcement of other people.
Let’s just say that post did not age well.
Look, the situation could have been much worse. She could have slept with six coworkers and then tried to play the victim by claiming to be sexually groomed. She did not do that. So we shall give her points for that.
She could have shot an innocent person in their own home over 17 times. But she didn't do that either.
She could have also mistaken a fallen acorn for a bullet and fired dozens of shots at her police vehicle, but she did none of that.
So as far as police mishaps go, we have had far worse situations recently. But she should still be fired.
That said, when you have a culture that vilifies police and views criminals as victims, I guess it's not surprising to end up with a situation like this.
