CNN analyst is shocked - SHOCKED - that southerners are being hospitable to foreigners in town for the World Cup

CNN did a segment on Freddy, the German soccer tourist, and sports analyst Christine Brennan claimed "I saw some conversation, Wolf and Pamela, about how the rest of the world is looking at the United States and feeling that we are—it's a foreboding image and that we are… pic.twitter.com/Eh2zQ8x5Pr

I've been waiting for the quintessential "why Euros enjoying America is actually a bad thing" to drop on either MSNOW or the New York Times. I'm sure other journalismers are digging through Freddy the German guy's tweets as we speak. Americans are enjoying the content of people discovering how awesome America is way too much for the left or the media (but I repeat myself) to let it stand. While we wait, here's some dingbat from CNN, shocked that people from the South aren't raaaaaacist.
First, if you're not following Freddy on X-Twitter, I would 10/10 recommend. He's taking a road trip across America for the World Cup. Side note: I wish I enjoyed soccer, because y'all look like you're having a blast.

The vibes are insane. Driving through the great state of Louisiana on our way to New Orleans. It’s crazy how diverse this country is, every day the scenery looks different. pic.twitter.com/9Ug5KdIAmS

CNN's Christine Brennan is even more shocked than Freddy is. Especially considering he's encountering a lot of, you know, "those people."
Southerners.
I saw some conversation, Wolf and Pamela, about how the rest of the world is looking at the United States and feeling that we are—it's a foreboding image and that we are inhospitable...But how wonderful again, that sports can bring people here and show people that the United States and you know, the South is welcoming a German tourist in a way we would never have anticipated.
"We."

You'll also be shocked to know...
Absolutely shocked that the woman who thought the decision to play football in 2020 was worse than Jerry Sandusky is now expressing bewilderment that the South doesn’t stone visitors to death https://t.co/rkeE4y0Lwp pic.twitter.com/efkLq7yfNz

It's funny, because it's one thing for people from other countries to be shocked by how hospitable America is. All they know is what they see reported in the news, which is that unless you live in an urban area run (into the ground) by the democrat party for the past few decades, there's something wrong with you. Those urban areas also go all in on illegal immigration and think if you support common sense illegal-immigration reform, or simply think ICE should be allowed to arrest child molesters and violent criminals, it means you hate all immigrants and are super super raaaaaaaacist.
It's another thing when those same journalismers repeating the fake news seem shocked themselves. I thought they were lying. But they may just be stupid.
A wise man once said, if you want to hate America, watch the news. If you want to love America, drive across it.
These European World Cup tourists are experiencing the REAL America for the first time: not New York City or LA, but middle America and all its hospitality. 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/B3rVBM63Eh

This is the biggest cultural divide. The people who work in media and run the democrat party, who rarely ever leave NYC or DC unless they're going to LA, have no clue who normal Americans are or what they're about. The legit only know them as the parodies portrayed by people who rarely ever leave NYC or DC unless they're going to LA.
Turns out, people in the South, the Midwest, and the suburbs are very welcoming. Yes, even if they have different opinions on policy than the journalismers who work at CNN. Go figure.
