Biden Admin Expected to Deport Christian Family Who Fled German Persecution... Over Homeschooling
A Christian family has been begging the Biden administration to intervene in their upcoming deportation after living in the U.S. for 15 years seeking asylum from persecution in Germany.
This news comes amidst Biden’s alien invasion.
During a routine check-in, the family was informed their deferred status had been revoked and were given four weeks to apply for German passports.
"They did not tell us anything. We don't really know why [this is happening]. We wonder ourselves because we can't understand," Uwe Romeike told "Fox & Friends Weekend".
PERSECUTED: Family faces deportation after fleeing to US to homeschool kidswww.youtube.com
Uwe and Hannelore Romeike fled Germany in 2008 after facing criminal prosecution for homeschooling their five children. Now, the family of nine must uproot their lives and face possible prosecution.
The couple told National Review that they had originally sent their kids to public school in Germany during the early 2000s. But when they looked into kid's literature books, they discovered a lot of anti-Christian propaganda.
The couple said that Germany harbors religious animus toward Christians and this is reflected in the education system. And that Germany intentionally keeps parents in the dark.
Kind of sounds like the U.S. Where they intentionally try to take parental rights away from you. '
When public schools start undermining parental rights, we know that can’t be good.
The family defied German law, and decided to homeschool their children in 2006. Eventually, police took custody of the kids every morning to take them to school and would bring them home after. They subsequently fled Germany to the U.S. after being fined for homeschooling their children.
Their claim was denied in 2013, with the family attempting to appeal the decision after the Obama administration challenged the initial ruling that was approved.
In a legal brief in 2014, the Justice Department wrote: "The goal in Germany is for an open, pluralistic society. Teaching tolerance to children of all backgrounds helps to develop the ability to interact as a fully functioning citizen in Germany.”
They do not have citizenship. They have been able to live here for the last ten years under an 'indefinite deferred action status.’
According to the couple, the Biden administration can intervene and allow them to stay.
Over two million migrants are thought to have crossed the southern border in 2023, with many citing Biden's lax policies as a reason. And who knows how many more with enter by the end of the year.
Of course, the one time Biden wants to enforce immigration law is when it is against a Christian family.
This shows another problem with opening the borders to allow the flood of illegals to come in. It makes it harder for people on other continents to immigrate here. It is not fair that because someone lives in Mexico, they get to just walk over but because someone lives farther away, it is much more difficult.
But of course, Christians tend to not vote Democrat and so there is no advantage to having a Christian family here when their kids or grandkids, who may actually be able to vote, are also expected to be conservative.
We also know that Democrats hate school choice because their precious teachers union will not be able to fund their campaigns.
And how will they indoctrinate children with their gender bender drama if they are homeschooled?
But again, since there is no penalty for crossing the border illegally, this family should just vacation in Mexico and then cross over. They may even get food stamps, free housing, and healthcare that way. No reason to go through the legal process at this point.
How is it that anyone and everyone who comes through the southern border is officially an ‘asylum seeker’ but this family is not?
They could also just move to Chicago’s new migrant camp.
But because they are attempting to do this the legal way, they are facing deportation.
It is totally abhorrent that criminals get to come here and live off our dime, but when a hardworking family wants to stay, they are sent away.
Sounds like nothing more than a two-tiered justice system to me.
