Charles Krauthammer Shreds GOP on Repeal and Replace 'Epic Fail'...

Brodigan
July 19, 2017

ObamaCare has been a crap sandwich for the last seven years (see Vox Asked for Obamacare ‘Success’ Stories to Push Liberal Agenda. It Backfired Magnificently! and MORON ALERT: Nancy Pelosi Says Everyone is Better Off Under Obamacare…). Donald Trump and the GOP not repealing ObamaCare, as has been campaigned on over and over for the past seven years? Take that crap sandwich, eat it, crap it out, make a sandwich out of the crap sandwich you just crapped, and eat that.

Or, as Charles Kruathammer more eloquently says, it's an epic fail.

This is an epic fail. This is historic. This is seven years of arguing gone down the drain. And I think we’re at the end of the road, at least in this phase.

You want to do something of this scale, you have to do — and here we were critical of Obama, but he gave at least 32 national addresses, you and I lost count after that, I mean, it was higher than that, on his healthcare bill, and he made the case. Did anybody make the case for what was in this bill in the Senate, other than it was a promise?

Wasn't Trump supposed to be a master negotiator? Didn't the House and the Senate already repeal ObamaCare a few times while Obama was president? Or was that just political posturing so the Republican leadership could say "See, see, we totally repealed ObamaCare but OBAMA stopped it! We need a Republican president!"

So if we only had a Republican president, we'd get this nasty policy repealed. In came Donald Trump, a "Republican" president, and now what do we have? A bunch of political tools bitching and moaning about... well I actually don't care enough. They campaigned on the promise of ObamaCare repeal. So far all they've delivered are more crap sandwiches. It's getting more difficult to swallow. Why should we vote for Republicans again?

Dear GOP leadership: you all suck.
