Biden Admin Release Over A Quarter Million INADMISSIBLE Aliens Into America Thanks To CBP App: Report
The band played on.
DHS documents obtained by the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed that hundreds of thousands of inadmissible aliens, including from “hostile nations like Russia,” were released into the interior of the U.S.
Why even gaslight people at this point? The Biden Administration should just admit that we have open borders. If the government has made our immigration laws de facto pointless, the very least they can do is stop insulting our intelligence by pretending we have a vetting process.
Between Jan. 12 and Sept. 30, fully 95.8% of the illegal aliens who scheduled appointments to claim asylum through the CBP One app, which is the digital immigration platform expanded under the Biden administration, were issued a “Notice to Appear” and then were paroled into the interior of the U.S.
“Secretary Mayorkas has utterly abused the CBP One app in his quest for open borders,” said Chairman Green. “These numbers are proof that Mayorkas’ operation is a smokescreen for the mass release of individuals into this country who would otherwise have zero claim to be admitted.”
The press release lists a country-by-country breakdown of the data and states that out of 278,431 scheduled appointments, 266,846 of the individuals were released into the U.S.
Lora Ries, director of The Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, said that the use of the app allows illegals to be “paroled into the U.S., where they may or may not apply for asylum, but they can get work authorization and remain for two years.”
The Homeland Security Committee said it also obtained data regarding individuals “from a number of countries of concern” who made appointments through the government’s app and then were released.
According to the committee, of 20,948 appointments made by Russian nationals, 19,780 were released on parole. Of 246 Afghan nationals who used the app, 229 were released; and 16 out of 18 Iranian nationals were released. And of 36 Chinese nationals, 88% were also released.
“At a time when global tensions are rising, and our enemies are growing bolder, releasing tens of thousands of these people into our communities—especially when they have not received adequate, if any, vetting—is irresponsible. It shouldn’t take a subpoena threat from Congress to get these answers, but we are going to keep fighting for the truth,” said Green.
Last month, the Washington Examiner reported that cartels are using virtual private networks (VPN) to skirt requirements that aliens signing up for appointments at ports of entry via CBP
“Using these VPNs, the cartels can exploit vulnerabilities in the app and schedule appointments for individuals regardless of their location—all for a fee—and they advertise this “service” on social media,” according to the press release.
It is probably safe to expect that Republicans will do absolutely nothing to help the situation. On June 1, the House Committee requested initial documents on the app. But they did not issue a subpoena threat until October.
They literally just sat back while all this went on for at least 10 months. We didn’t need these documents to know what was going on. They just let it happen and now pretend that by producing the very obvious facts to the public, this is them “helping.”
Oh please. No one buys that crap. Republicans might as well say closed borders are racist as their lack of action fuels the flame anyway. How are they any different than Democrats at this point when it comes to taking action on the border?
But I guess since Republicans stated the obvious, we can all sleep better at night.
