I've been working from home for the past decade. Then the pandemic came, and companies started appropriating my culture. Everyone started to discover the joy of staying in their pajamas all day. Now that companies are calling people back to the office, not all employees are going quietly. Apple employees are so desperate to stay home, they are playing the race card. Also, the gender card. The disabled card, too. It's an identity politics game of 52-card pick-up.

Apple CEO Tim Cook wants employees to come back to the office for all of three days out of the week. Employees wrote an open letter telling Cook to go fornicate with himself. Working in an office is white people sh*t.

"Apple will likely always find people willing to work here, but [...] being in the office at least 3 fixed days of the week [...] will make Apple younger, whiter, more male-dominated, more neuro-normative, more able-bodied, in short, it will lead to privileges deciding who can work for Apple, not who'd be the best fit."

It was an impressive list. They covered race, gender, and physical limitations. They even invented a new one. I had to look up what "neuro-normative" meant. The employees are accusing Apple of being anti-Autistic people.

I'm disappointed the employees couldn't find a way to work homophobia or transphobia into their list of complaints. Maybe they are going with the -ists in the opening letter and are holding the -phobias if they have to write a second one. That will be when fatphobia comes into play, as well. Anything to prevent them from having to go to work three days a week other than five days like a grown-up.

In a perfect world, these clowns would all be wished well in their future endeavors. In 2022, Tim Cook will be forced to issue a public apology.
