.@POTUS: "You're ABC Fake News. I don't take questions from ABC Fake News. After what you did with Stephanopolous with the Vice President of the United States, I don't take questions from ABC Fake News." 🔥 https://t.co/ulf4kK5QVW pic.twitter.com/zq7e64SF3e

The only problem with fake news is that it’s fake. When outlets choose to mislead the public, they essentially make themselves irrelevant, because Americans don’t need them to gaslight them with lies. This is why Trump said what needed to be said and fired back at ABC News for daring to ask a question after what they did “with Stephanopoulos and the Vice President of the United States.”
According to The Hill:
President Trump ripped ABC News after a contentious interview with Vice President Vance over the weekend.
“This Week” host George Stephanopoulos abruptly ended an interview with Vance on Sunday after the vice president did not directly answer a question about bribery allegations against border czar Tom Homan.
This is what Trump is referring to.
.@VP nukes George Slopidopolous for obsessing over made-up Fake News BS while not asking a single question about the Democrat Shutdown: "Here's, George, why fewer and fewer people watch your program..."
George gets big mad, cuts @VP off, and goes to commercial 🤣 pic.twitter.com/VVm2FV5ujd

Vance summed up the state of the media perfectly.
Stephanopoulos, during Sunday morning’s edition of “This Week,” asked Vance whether Homan kept or returned a reported $50,000 bribe.
“You’re focused on a bogus story, you’re insinuating criminal wrongdoing against a guy who has done nothing wrong, instead of focusing on the fact that our country is struggling because our government shut down,” Vance added.
According to AG Pam Bondi, “the DOJ and the FBI found no credible evidence of any wrongdoing.” So, it’s unclear why ABC News is so obsessed with this, though it may have something to do with misleading the public. You do the math.
Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) defames Border Czar Tom Homan by saying, without evidence, that he took a $50K bribe.
Homan needs to sue Hirono. She’s way past her congressional protections.

What’s so irritating about this is not simply that they are fighting to get to the truth, but that they run with misleading assumptions and gotcha questions in an attempt to discredit everything this administration is doing. Again, that does nothing beneficial for the American people and is exactly why the media has become largely irrelevant. This is why, as Trump would say, they are fake news and deserve zero questions from the president.
