Watch: Family of fallen officer confronts woke mayor who flew Pride flag instead of police flag honoring his sacrifice

The Wethersfield City Council refused to fly the thin blue line flag for fallen officer Aaron Pelletier, who was killed in the line of duty.
For council members to be beholden to their ideology, as they pretend to care, they flew the pride flag instead, even though he wasn't gay. They made up some excuses about a dumb city ordinance that mandates a 30-day notice before flying any flags, and the pride flag met that requirement while the police flag did not. However, the crazy thing is that when officers die in the line of duty, people don’t typically get a four-week notice, which makes the mayor and council that much more pathetic.
In the past two years, several officers lost their lives in the line of duty. The mom and brother of one of the officers confronted the pompous mayor.
Last week, City Council of Wethersfield, CT voted against flying a Thin Blue Line flag to memorialize their fallen officers.
Instead, the town flew a PRIDE FLAG.

There was a rally earlier Monday, with some protestors saying that it was not just about the flag. Attendees said they felt police were disrespected.
In the last two years, the lives of Dustin Demonte, Alex Hamzy, Bobby Garten, and Aaron Pelletier were lost in the line of duty.
“This was a shameful, political move. f-you dude. Ken you didn’t even say my brother’s name dude. Ken you didn’t say my brothers name at all. You’re an idiot. No name,” yelled Will Garten, brother of Bobby Garten. “They talked about all the fallen officers, and they did the top two, but they didn’t name the person who grew up here. Bobby grew up here. He went to school here.”
The mayor claimed that the flag was racist and that’s why they didn’t fly it, even though police are not a race.
This is infuriating and sad.
One of the officers grew up there and gave his life to protect these people. Yet, the council had the nerve to make this about their deranged politics instead of honoring the real victims for five minutes. They couldn't take a single minute out of their day to do that. That is how pathetic these people are and it’s disgusting.
Although, sadly, officials are acting like this, it’s nice that the rest of the community is not insane and is going out of their way to show the family their respects.
Since that council ruling, there were people in Wethersfield who have been ordering signs that read “we support police officers.” That also gives $20 to the Bobby Garten Memorial Fund for each sign.
You have to be mentally retarded to claim the thin blue line flag has anything to do with white supremacy, so much so that these people should be barred from running for office given how objectively stupid they are. When you are that dumb you have no business running a city, because clearly, they made an officer's funeral about irrational fears of a flag, rather than pretending to show their respects for five seconds.
How deranged does someone have to be to fly an arrogant symbol dedicated to insignificant preferences over honoring fallen officers? Because Wethersfield has reached levels of narcissism that no one thought was possible and I hope residents never let them forget about what they have done.
