You know who wins here? Americans. You, me, your neighbor with the barking dog, that couple who can't seem to keep their toddler from putting his jam hands on everything, and recent graduates entering the marketplace with skills hopefully going beyond finding the right gif for a text. Not that gifs aren't important.

The losers are the seventeen thousandish Democrats trying to say the economy is nothing to applaud. The losers are people who need you dependent on government in order to get elected. The more you can make your own money, the more you can care for yourself, your children, your insane labradoodle who chews everything in sight, the less appeal a Democrat candidate has. Especially the Democrats, running for president or just running their mouths, demanding you give up your stuff. Like your car, your steak dinners, your primal desire to propagate the species.

As the political consultants like to say, it's the economy, stupid.
