WATCH: The Who's Roger Daltrey Has the Perfect Response on Brexit
There are two things that are tiresome about modern reporters. One, too many of them seem to think history only began when Barack Obama was sworn in 2009. Two, they think every famous person has to have a comment about politics at all times. As you'll see in this video, The Who's Roger Daltrey is all of us responding to these insane questions. Which because of the whole British thing, means it's a question about Brexit.
How is a band like The Who going to be able to tour as the UK leaves the European Union?
As if we didn't tour in Europe before the f***ing EU.
The Who was established in 1964. The United Kingdom joined what would become known as "The European Union" in 1973. Math is hard.
As for the "remainers" who are trying to circumvent the will of the people who voted to leave the EU?
If you want to sign up to be ruled by a f***ing mafia, you do it. It's like being governed by FIFA.
FIFA is the (some say corrupt) organization that governs soccer. For those of you who only watch real sports. Not to be confused with men running in shorts, hitting balls with their heads.
I'm not saying I understand what's going on with Brexit (see This Pundit’s Take on Brexit is Bloody Brilliant…and Refreshingly Honest and Tommy Robinson Asks Anti-Brexit Protesters About the EU. They Embarrass Themselves…). However, we can all relate to Daltrey barely hiding his disdain for stupid questions from the press that have zero to do with music and everything to do with politics. Is nothing sacred?
