By now you should be familiar with how psycho leftists are when they don't get their way. But in case you need a refresher, here's a perfect example. Democrats were trying to get a completely unnecessary amendment pushed through the House floor yesterday. When it died in front of them, they lost whatever small sliver of cool they had. We're talking full throttle, big baby meltdowns. They collectively threw a temper tantrum of... well, democratic proportions. Watch:

The House floor erupted Thursday into a tense, chaotic situation after an amendment to protect members of the LGBT community failed several seconds after it looked like it had enough votes to pass.

"Shame, shame, shame!" Democrats chanted on the House floor as Republicans changed their votes. Democrats immediately lashed out at Republicans on social media and many compared their colleagues to Donald Trump.

Here are some of those public chastisements...

Cool it, Steve Israel. There's something unnerving about the elderly using Twitter. Shouldn't you be taking your afternoon nap? Maybe drinking an old people's version of Pediasure? Elderly-shaming? Why not.

The tweets came immediately after the ruling and within minutes of each other. These guys already had their phones out and ready for a Twitter-shaming session. Their thumbs must have been moving at lightning speed. Faster than they've moved in the past twenty years.

Online outbursts aside, can we refer back to the "precious" amendment here? It's an important part of all this.

The amendment would have barred federal contracts to companies that discriminate against LGBT employees. It was an attempt to undo a provision inside a major defense bill the House passed a night earlier. [It] would reverse President Obama's executive order extending anti-discrimination protections to federal contractors' LGBT employees. Democrats warned the provision will allow any federal contractor to discriminate against gay, lesbian, and transgender people.

Do you see what Democrats do? They take principles that the free market should decide and impose them on everybody. All. The. Time. Doesn't matter if you weren't going to discriminate in the first place. They want to tell everybody who they can and can't hire.

Every time they pass something this unnecessary it gives the government more room for overreach. If you oppose them? You're a bigot. Because you value freedom and limited government. They always conveniently ignore the freedom part though - like the Democrats above. They jump straight to public shaming. Or they may actually yell the word "SHAME!" They accuse you of hating gays because you don't think the government should impose diversity quotas. Think it's unfair? Too bad, bigot. It's the leftist way.
