Several years ago, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson thought it was a good idea to endorse Biden. He has since admitted that he thought wrong, as there is no denying the abysmal failure of the current administration.
“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no. Do I believe we’re going to get better? I believe in that. I’m an optimistic guy, and I believe we can get better.”
However, if he does vote for Trump he will never admit it. But that’s not uncommon considering there are many, many secret Trump voters out there. Since voting in favor of lower income taxes now makes you racist in some parts of the country, some people prefer to keep that information to themselves.
“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was what I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” Johnson said. “Am I going to do that again this year? That answer’s no.”
This admission of guilt comes after he went on the Joe Rogan podcast where he admitted that he has nearly no friends who actually support Biden and are just beholden to the DNC. Because let’s be real, who is actually ecstatic to vote for Biden? Especially when you compare it to the excitement Trump has. But that does not matter to the people watching MSNBC who believe Trump has reincarnated Hitler.
If you take a trip down memory lane, you will see how cringy the former endorsement was.
That video is unsettling and is extremely hard to watch. But to his credit, he did say that respect is earned and he has since made it clear Biden will not be getting any of that.
I really don't care that celebrities have political opinions and we all know that most of them are raging Liberals. But it's mildly annoying when we see them making endorsements since they are often an escape from our lives when we watch movies. There is a saying, "separate the artist from the art???...." I think it's something like that. But sometimes it's easier said than done.
That said, it's going to be a lot harder for Biden to get the PR from celebrities considering the utter and total failure of his administration. But it won't be impossible. Now we shall sit back and wait to see what celebrity will be so pathetic to hand out their fake endorsement for Sleepy Joe.
That said, who do you think The Rock will be voting for in Nov.?
