Watch: Fact-checking Jon Stewart's silly "No Kings" rant against Donald Trump

After the No Kings protests, Jon Stewart ranted about how Trump is supposedly acting like a king. The problem? That could not be further from the truth. Today’s show breaks this down.
It’s unclear exactly who is in support of kings, but this is likely where we can find common ground with Stewart, as it’s still unknown who they believe is advocating in favor of that.
“This is why I think this country is better. We left a system of kings,” Crowder said. “I don't like kings. That is why I voted against the former Vice President and the non-primary coronation of Kamala Harris. I voted against a monarchy. I voted against a dynasty.”
Many believed a vote for Trump was a vote against draconian lockdown orders, mass censorship of the American people, calling for the removal of podcast hosts, and the open border policies that wreaked havoc on this country for the past several years. So, again, it’s unclear how the left pretends the fight against tyranny is somehow upholding a kingship, but you do the math.
According to Fox News:
Stewart went on to commend his guest's "consistent" messaging, claiming that the "true inheritor of the Sanders revolution is Trump," while adding Trump was the "most socialist president" of his lifetime.
"Taking a percentage of companies to do business, that's a Bernie Sanders idea. Doing a Trump Rx where the government is involved in selling pharmaceuticals, that's a Bernie Sanders idea," Stewart continued.
Trump touted a "historic agreement" with Intel in August, guaranteeing the government an equity stake in the tech conglomerate after making an $8.9 billion investment in the company to expand the "domestic semiconductor industry."
Even if you want to give the left the benefit of the doubt for not knowing of the inevitable failures of things like Obamacare and lockdown orders, many people did. The left, however, refused to listen.
“Not knowing does not absolve you of the crime if people were telling you what would happen and you dismiss them and, in some cases, deplatform them,” Crowder said.
