Katie Porter makes such a bonkers claim about her opponent, CNN has to distance itself
Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!
HOLY SHlT! Katie Porter just wrapped up an interview with CNN that did so HORRENDOUSLY that even the host had to spend time at the end to distance the TRASH NEWS NETWORK from her statements.
You know it's bad if even DNN has to push back.

When you start making claims so unfounded and bizarre that even CNN can’t defend you, despite you being on the same side of the political spectrum, that is how you know you have deeply missed the mark.
Katie Porter called Tom Steyer, her Democratic opponent in the California gubernatorial race, a "corporate special interest” and said that he is the one who leaked the video of her berating her staff. The problem with this statement is that it is not rooted in any evidence, according to CNN’s Dana Bash.
Here are the two segments where Porter made the claims that even CNN had to push back on. @katieporterca you might want to drop out and forget about holding any office especially if your allies in the news are DEMOLISHING your incessant screeds.

According to Porter, the person who leaked the video of her berating her staffer was Steyer. She claims she is "confident that is the case” because she has “been told by many people.” She further justified her unfounded lie by claiming that if you do not believe her, you can “follow the trail.” The problem with this is that she is the one who made the accusation. It is her duty, based on the laws of logic, to justify her stance. She has no evidence to back up what she said, which is why she resorted to “trust me” and “if you do not trust me, then go disprove it.”
Anyone with a fraction of a brain can see how illogical this is. It is so foolish that even CNN could not back it up.

California gubernatorial candidate caught berating staff over Zoom lights in newly surfaced 2021 footage.
She snaps at workers, then smiles for camera, then snaps again:

She then went on to claim Steyer is a "corporate special interest,” claiming she is “the only candidate” in the race who has refused money from corporations. Again, the reason CNN had to push back on this is that she just randomly made up this claim. She provides zero evidence to justify anything she says, but dances around in circles making random statements, hoping you get confused enough to not question her.
CNN did give her somewhat of the benefit of the doubt, though, and invited her back on to present all the proof she does not have to back up her claims.
She won't be doing any of that, as she has nothing to provide.
What is so foolish is not even that she made some claim about her opponent, but that she tried to pretend the problem was that she was exposed, not that she needed to be exposed in the first place. This woman is so unlikable that even CNN can’t defend her. That tells you everything you need to know.
At this point, we can only hope she gets the hint about how insufferable she is after her inevitable loss and never, never returns to politics again.
