Hasan Piker attended an anti-ICE protest in New Jersey, and he did not stay long. Today’s show breaks it down.

“Someone like Hasan Piker, who wants to advocate on behalf of communist governments like China and Cuba, who violates American law, you are not welcome to use our laws, freedoms and rights to subvert it, destroy it and then rob future generations of said virtue,” Crowder said.

He was recently banned from the UK. According to Piker, it is because he has been critical of Israel.

YouTube political commentator Cenk Uygur and his nephew, Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, have been blocked entry to the UK by the Home Office, meaning they will miss scheduled talks at SXSW London this week.

“We do not allow the First Amendment to be used against us by people who advocate for a government who in no way allows dissent. Best case scenario, you are kicked out of the country. Most likely, the scenario is prison, and a very possible scenario is execution. These are the regimes that Hasan Piker says are not that bad,” Crowder said. “He experiences what everyone would experience under the regimes he advocates if they were critical of them. Why should someone like that be granted entry [to the UK]?”

In the past few minutes, the Home Office has confirmed that the pair’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) “has been cancelled on the grounds that their presence in the UK may not be conducive to the public good.”

“Here is the thing: the UK should not ban political speech. People should not be banned for being critical of Israel. Piker should absolutely be put on trial for treason for what he has done with this country if he has worked on behalf of foreign governments. Talking with people or coordinating with them, or even talking with them sympathetically, not as an objective journalist, that to me is betrayal of your country,” Crowder said.
