Pat McAfee has been dragged into our culture wars enough to know when the left is going to stab the keys on their laptops in outrage. Like, for instance, when he interviews the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Knowing the hate was coming, McAfee wasted no time telling the haters — and even a few losers — where they could stick it.
You wouldn't think there would be much to hate. It was Veterans Day. McAfee's "progrum" was live from Parris Island. Interviewing the Commander-in-Chief makes complete sense. However, we're talking about people who booed Trump at a football game as he was swearing in new members of our armed services. Plus, leftists started the day with sore heinies after Democrats bent the knee to Trump over the Schumer Shutdown.
McAfee knew what his X-Twitter mentions were going to look like. So to steal a popular quote from his other job, "Suck It!"
For the immediate people that are mad - it's the president of the United States. It's Veterans Day. He's the Commander-in-Chief. Obviously, if we have the opportunity to talk to him, we're going to.
Most importantly?
And he is HILARIOUS!
.@POTUS on attending the Commanders game and what sports mean to him: "It was a little bit of a blowout game in all fairness with the Commanders as opposed to the Redskins. What happened to the Redskins, by the way?" 🤣

McAfee finds himself in an interesting position. ESPN isn't a network that allows any opinions slightly to the right of Karl Marx or Zohran Mamdani, let alone allowing Donald Trump to speak uninterrupted on their airwaves. Even though YouTubeYV subscribers right now wouldn't have seen this on their airwaves.
But the talker and pro-wrestling superstar has enough f*ck you money that ESPN needs him a lot more than he needs them. He can do what he wants, talk about what he wants, and talk to whoever he wants. That includes the one politician in America that his ESPN colleagues hate as much as Buffalo Bills fan hates their coaching staff.
Good on Pat.
