The name "Owen Benjamin" should sound familiar to you. Unless you've been living under a rock like some kind of subterranean troll, subsisting on a diet of raw kale and prairie dog testicles. Or sipping beverages exclusively from inferior tumblers. Not sure which is worse.

Owen is a huge pianist and close a close friend of the show (visit his website here). Mr. Benjamin was recently canceled from Brea Improv, an event he's headlined for the past 8 years. Owen's also been outspoken about his wild and crazy views. Mainly that three-year old children aren't "trans." Shaun King is white. Caitlyn Jenner isn't a lady. Et cetera.

The cancelation's timing is surely coincidental.

Oh, reminder: Owen is a comedian. When he's not slinging jokes, he's writing songs. With jokes. He is not, for example, creating policy of which we all most obey. Jokes. He makes them.

The left mounts the high horse to preach to us little people about the importance of tolerance, acceptance, and how important the opinions of comedians really are. Ahem, Jimmy Kimmel waxing eloquent about healthcare. Or crying about gun violence. We're supposed to take Kimmel seriously. But along comes a piano playing comedian daring to say toddlers aren't gender fluid trannies, and suddenly the tolerance rug gets pulled.

The message is clear: be a leftist, get the red carpet. State truths everyone accepted not even five years ago? HEATHEN! TO THE VILLAGE SQUARE WITH YOU!
