Dems roll out early retiree boomers to whine their taxpayer-funded ObamaCare subsidies are going up, want you to feel bad

That's a video of Ted Cruz from 2013 warning about what would happen to healthcare under ObamaCare. It's very important to point out that everything conservatives said was going to happen to healthcare costs after Democrats rammed through ObamaCare has, in fact, happened.
Would it have been nice if conservatives had done something about it at any point in the 12 years since this video? Sure. But that's not the world we live in, and you have to fight your battles with the Republican Party you have and not necessarily the Republican Party you need.
Where we are now is the Democrat Party, after using the pandemic to blow up healthcare in America worse than they did with ObamaCare, is holding the government hostage unless Republicans vote to renew the "temporary" taxpayer-funded ObamaCare subsidies. To guilt the GOP into doing this, Democrats are rolling out sob stories. Of boomers. Who retired early. And want taxpayers to pay for their health insurance. While those taxpayers can barely afford their own health care. Because Democrats and ObamaCare have caused costs to skyrocket.
Do you see where this is going?
These videos are 100% having the opposite effect of what they’re intended to do.

It's funny, because when Republicans spoke out against ObamaCare and how what is happening now was going to happen, places like CNN reported that they were being racist. But, to be fair, having ANY different opinion from a Democrat was racist. It was also racist to call it "ObamaCare" instead of the "Affordable Care Act."
So my tax dollars were paying for $2,182 of their monthly premium while I have to pay for all of my own health insurance costs?

Billy and Shelly are the poster children for NOT renewing the "temporary" subsidies.

If this is the messaging that consultants came up with for Democrats to defend holding the government hostage, Republicans may never lose again. Regardless of how hard we try sometimes.
