Democrat official claims he's not the bad guy SEIZING farm family owned for 200 years because it's for the "greater good"

We've covered the story earlier this year, but it's going national. Andy Henry's family has owned farmland in New Jersey for close to 2000 years. The town is threatening to seize his property to build affordable housing using eminent domain.
Now, we get to here from one of the douchebags making the threat. Meet Committee member Matt Scott. He says he isn't the bad guy and that the Henry Family Farm needs to be seized by the government for the -- wait for it --- "greater good."
ΒHenry and his brother Christopher inherited the property in 2012 and have been turning down buyout offers in the tens of millions ever since. They've invested $200,000 in it, and it's become a popular attraction that unites the neighborhood.
βOur farm is now leased for raising cattle and sheep. The town loves driving by and seeing something besides warehouses. Keeping this legacy intact and passing it to the next generation has been, and is always, our plan.β
In the macro, this story is insane and exactly who the left is. Socialists don't believe in private property. They want the state to own everything.
In the micro, here is exhibit Q on the importance of local elections. There is a ton of focus on New York City and Minnesota electing communists as their mayor, but that's just a city thing.
Turns out, if you don't pay attention to the suburbs, it's a thing there too. Do you know your local council member? Or even your local Assemblyman or State Senator? Do they support destroying where you live for their political agenda, claiming it's "for the greater good?" These initiatives, laws, and hidden changes in zoning laws are happening all over the country.
If you don't know who is representing you on the local level, change that.
