Why can’t we just condemn all acts of violence without dragging skin color into the mix? Why must Don Lemon single out an entire group of people simply because he dislikes the color of their skin? He conveniently ignores those two important truths while pathetically attacking anyone who disagrees with him.

Lemon went after Megyn Kelly. I’d say it’s cute that he thought he could land a blow, but in reality, he couldn’t be more pathetic if he tried. You might almost feel sorry for him—until you remember the kind of racist nonsense he spews. At that point, you realize he’s not even worthy of the benefit of the doubt.

Nonetheless, Lemon said what he said, and for that, he deserves nothing less than full condemnation.

Firstly, Lemon claims that when it comes to discussing violence in this country, you can’t bring up crime statistics because that’s “racist.” However, facts cannot be racist—they are merely factual observations of the status quo. If the truth hurts, that’s a personal problem, not a societal one. Yet, he insists you are the problem for “generalizing” the facts, even though the facts speak for themselves. Makes perfect sense, doesn’t it?

Look, I don’t need to bring up crime statistics for you to see that the claim, “The greatest threat of political violence in America today is white men radicalized to the right,” is a lie—not that violence has anything to do with race, but I digress.

Does Don Lemon realize that Charlie Kirk’s alleged shooter was radicalized by the left? Or that the shooting at the ICE facility has everything to do with left-wing rhetoric? Does he realize that Antifa taking over the streets of Portland has nothing to do with right-wing men? If he really wants to discuss “the facts,” then he should do just that. But of course he won’t—because clearly, this man lives in La-La Land, and these facts are just too factual for him. But what else is new?

That being said, I think everyone reading this knows exactly where the majority of political violence in this country comes from—and it certainly isn’t the side Lemon stands with.
