We live in this post-Harvey Weinstein world. Every day there's a new shocking accusation (see Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Accused of Raping Fellow Pop Star Melissa Schuman and WTF: Pixar Head Peaces Out Before Sexual Accusations Can Touch Him…). Most of us have been on the same side: outrage for the victims, wanting to see the sleezeburgers with vegan bacon who preyed on them sent to county with a defective soap on the rope.

Leave it to a Teen Vogue writer to remind us why we can't find common ground. In a tweetstorm saying it's ok for men to be wrongly accused.

As an aside, this is exhibit Q why we don't see any virtue in "finding common ground." It usually goes like this:

LEFTIST: RAPE CULTURE!

CONSERVATIVE: You know, I can see the point about rape culture at least as it pertains to Hollyw--

LEFTIST: ALL MEN SUCK AND IT'S OK TO WRONGLY ACCUSE THEM OF RAPE BECAUSE SMASH THE PATRIARCHY!

Shockingly not shocking, a lot of people weren't amused by this woman's sentiment (the tweetstorm, my dialogue is solid). Among the unamused is Jake Tapper. He dismantled Emily in one tweet.

Ah yes, To Kill a Mockingbird. The famous novel we all read in school that tells of a black man wrongfully accused of rape by a white woman. A novel that leftists want to have banned from school, because the book may make people feel bad.

Lindin tried going the victim route by shaming Tapper for his mean words. He smacked her again (ok, so it took him two tweets).

Of course, the peanut gallery needed to chime in.

Boom.

This is why Tapper would be a more pleasant guest at Thanksgiving dinner. Emily Lindin is probably printing out her talking points in order to #OccupySayingGraceBeforeEating. Starting with a "Dear feminist goddess Gaia, please smash the patriarchy with a pussy hat."

Jake Tapper? He'll show up in his Eagle jersey and remind everyone who is in first place, while the other NFC East teams are playing Thursday. Much deserved.
