We can all appreciate a piece of left-produced media, if it backfires in their smug face like a water balloon filled with fluid better left unmentioned (see Crazed Woman Falsely Accuses Soldier of Rape. It Backfires BIG Time… and Pro-Abortion NY Times Asks ‘What if Roe v. Wade Was Overturned?’ It Backfires).

Enter this video: the creator essentially says cops aren't worthy of praise, MMA wannabes can't defend themselves worth crap, and only you can protect yourself. Notice something missing?

Lozito (stabbing victim): You'd expect two armed cops to, I don't know, maybe do something about a wanted fugitive spree-killer that they were on the train specifically to arrest, but they stayed put.

I was in the sort of situation every man thinks about at least twice a day. Suddenly thrust into a life or death situation that required me to become a badass. Unfortunately, I had no badass training...

Lozito: If you ever get the chance to confront a dangerous armed mad-man, don't trust in the police have your back...

A couple of things. Firstly, the sweeping generalization that police won't help someone being attacked is inaccurate. There are plenty of hero cops (see HERO: Baltimore Cop Rushes to Save Baby’s Life… of Anti-Cop Protestor). Should be fairly self-explanatory for people who don't have an axe to grind via animated video.

Secondly, if Lozito had a .38 Special, 9mm, .45 or whatever your round preference (don't tweet us), this whole situation could have been avoided. Instead of imagining a perfect MMA style takedown, Lozito could've pumped his attacker full of lead. Thus avoiding any kind of bloody scene. Well, for him at least. The attacker might be dead.

Such a circumstance as the one described is a compelling reason to for a concealed carry permit and membership for a gun range.

But of course the cartoon never mentions guns. It never makes the case for "Hey, cops aren't responsible for protecting you, ergo you need to be your own armed cop." Though if it had, it probably wouldn't trend on YouTube. Or even been produced. For the left, sometimes being bloody and defenseless is better than armed and dangerous.
