For those who missed it, on the heels of the four police officers who were killed in Dallas, yesterday in Baton Rouge three more were killed and up to ten were injured. Details are still coming out, and it’s important to note that this is seperate from the earlier reported foiled plot to kill Baton Rouge cops. Obviously the media is trying to tiptoe around this issue, ignoring the giant, hateful, racially divisive, anti-police, hashtagged elephant in the room. Then there are people like Detective Steve Loomis, President of the Cleveland Police Association, who’s not shy about telling us exactly who he thinks is responsible…
The president of the Untied States validated a false narrative and the nonsense that Black Lives Matter and the Media are pressing out there to the public — He validated with his very divisive statements And now we see an escalation.
This has got to end.
We need some leadership in this country to come forward and put an end to this.
I don’t care if it’s clergy or who it is but somebody has to step up and put an end to this. It’s false narrative and people politicizing the false narrative that we have a President of the United States and the governor of Minnesota making a statement less than one day after the police involved shootings.
Those police involved shootings are what absolutely has triggered in rash of senseless murders of law enforcement officers across the country. It is reprehensible.
The president has blood on his hands and it will not be able to come washed off…
How the hell did we ever become the bad guys in this country? I can not imagine how we got here. It is the irresponsible reporting of the media and irresponsible statements from people who are credible – like the president, like celebrities.
Talk about a man on fire. No doubt Detective Loomis’ job could be in jeopardy for speaking out like this, but I suppose a man can only take so much. This is his Henry Winkler “I said no mustard on my sandwich” moment. (+2 to whoever can successfully name that movie reference in the comments section below)
Listen, we’ve been writing about what happens when you malign cops since last September. My exact words were
“When you put this idea out there that cops are in record numbers, simply killing people simply because of the melanin in their skin, what does that do? It makes it okay to vilify cops. It makes it okay to dehumanize cops… If we are at the point where simply saying ‘wait for the facts’ is seen as more controversial than the public demanding of lynching cops, we have a serious problem… you (leftists and #BlackLivesMatter) are going to create an atmosphere that you CAN NOT take back and WILL regret.”
I’ve never been so unhappy to have been right in all my life. Unfortunately, the dishonest, anti-cop rhetoric coming from the left only appears to have gotten worse since then.
Don’t you dare call them out on it…
