Cambridge City Council Reinstates Gunshot Detectors, Decides They Aren’t Racist After All

The problem with claiming gunshot doctors are racist is that that statement is inherently racist. You cannot say this technology will disproportionately affect people of color unless you believe race dictates if one is more likely to commit gun crimes. Subsequently, we can conclude anyone who supports banning this technology is nothing more than a leftist bigot.
Cambridge City Council voted to ban gunshot detectors a couple of months ago. They just reinstated the use of that technology. That tells you all you need to know.
UPDATE: Cambridge City Council just voted to restore the "racist" gunshot detectors https://t.co/fqiAeS6Tif

Wow! The IQ level is pretty low in that room!
According to Boston 25:
The Cambridge City Council voted Monday night to temporarily restore the city’s ShotSpotter gunshot detection system for 90 days while officials gather additional data and community feedback before deciding whether to keep the technology permanently.
The residents opposing this system claim it puts people of color at risk. Based on public comments, this includes illegal aliens. The problem with this is that their crimes are not worthy of protection. And claiming these sound systems put you at risk for deportation is nothing more than a personal problem.
The vote comes just months after the council voted to remove ShotSpotter amid concerns over privacy and the effectiveness of the technology. The issue returned to the forefront following the fatal shooting of Cambridge Department of Public Works employee Xavier Bautista on July 4.
This is heartbreaking, and it is unacceptable how someone had to lose their life before the city took the concept of public safety seriously.
Police said Bautista was shot and killed, but officers did not locate him until about an hour after the shooting. Supporters of ShotSpotter argued the system could help police respond more quickly to future shootings.
Common sense would tell you that every second after someone is shot matters. The faster someone gets help, the faster they can recover. The longer it takes to get to the hospital, the worse the outcome is. This is not rocket science, and a foreign national's fake right to be here does not override the need for public safety. Glad we cleared that up. Now, can someone please inform the woke idiots of Cambridge why this has nothing to do with racism?
