Sometimes Bill Maher says things we like, and we gladly give him props. This ain't one of those times. In his "New Rules" segment on Real Time, Billy-boy decided to bash us rural red state folk as a bunch of uncultured proles. Unfit to shine the $1,000 loafers he bought on Rodeo Drive. An elitist dick move if I ever saw one.

Bill Maher ridiculed red state voters in a segment about Amazon’s HQ2 locations, saying that the rich and educated people of America live in blue states.

“That’s why red state voters are so pissed off. They don’t hate us, they want to be us,” the Real Time host said on Friday night.

Nope. Not even close.

Maher quoted Hillary Clinton, who has said that during the 2016 election she won the “places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product.” Clinton has also boasted that she won over voters in areas that are “optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward.”

The HBO host continued to pile on the insult for red state residents, saying that there are “no red carpets in Wyoming” and no one asks them what they’re wearing because “the answer is always Target.”

“We have chef Wolfgang Puck, they have Chef Boyardee,” he said. “Our roofs have solar panels, theirs have last year’s Christmas lights.”

Yeah, this certainly sounds like something an advocate for the working man would say.

You know, my "regressive" rural community may not have slop á la Wolfgang Puck. At least I can walk down Main Street without dodging a minefield of dirty heroin needles and human butt nuggets.

California isn't as great as they hype themselves up to be. The Golden State may boast the "sixth biggest economy in the world" as lefties like to point out. They also have the highest poverty rate in the entire U-S-of-A. That little factoid must've slipped Bill's mind.

This is one of those rare moments where lefties pull down the curtain and show us how they really are. Elitist commie douchenozzles aren't pushing their policies because they like us. They think we're too stupid and uncultured to make decisions for ourselves, so we need to turn everything over to them.

Not gonna happen.
