The left has got some nerve claiming they were all in it to protect Democracy, despite creating the most undemocratic election in American history. So, while it’s not surprising that a former Biden aide has now admitted to doing just that, this is still a scandal that should never be forgotten.

To cover up the fact that Biden was a sleeping potato, his aides vowed to do whatever it takes, despite if it meant resorting to undemocratic means.

Are you surprised? No? Didn’t think so.

According to the New York Post:

Joe Biden’s aides were willing to do “undemocratic things” to cover up the former president’s mental decline and keep him in power for another four years, the author of a bombshell book revealed Sunday.

Biden’s team of unelected staffers felt justified in “picking up the slack” for the faltering commander in chief and shielding him from the public because they viewed President Trump as an “existential threat” to democracy, Alex Thompson, co-author of “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” told “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream.

So, it turns out that resorting to undemocratic means also meant creating a de facto coup and outing the very man the bureaucracy pretended to protect. To call that a slap in the face to democracy everywhere would be an understatement.

“Who would have been running the White House in a second Biden term?” Bream asked Thompson, after noting that he quoted a long-time Biden aide in his book “basically admitting he shouldn’t be running again.”

The real question is, ‘Who has been running the country for the past four years?’Because you knew, and I knew, and you knew that I knew, and I knew that you knew, that Biden was, in fact, a sleeping potato. So, to call that a generous observation would also be an understatement.

“Well, this person went on to say that when you’re voting for a president, you’re voting for the aides around him,” the author and Axios journalist revealed.

You are first voting for a president before even thinking about their aides, so it’s a bit disingenuous to claim that the man who did not even know who he was half the time was picking people he intended to represent voters.

This isn't even a valid excuse, since they kept him in power by claiming voters were really choosing his aides, all while concealing the true extent of who people were actually voting for.

The contradictions are SCREAMING with this one, but again, no one should be surprised.
