Wokeness is dead, but woke 2.0 is here. Is it worse than the former? Today’s show breaks it down.
“It is okay to have close-handed issues on which you vote and open-handed issues,” Crowder said. “For many people, that is being pro-life. For many people the close-handed issue is immigration. And then people have maybe a more open-handed issue, like top marginal tax rate and corporate tax rates. But we also have some people who are single-issue voters.”
Is there anything that would make you a single-issue voter and make you join forces with the radical left?
In Aug., AOC claimed wokeness is dead. This means that woke 2.0 is here. On another note, Theo Von interviewed NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani. This isn't an issue in itself; however, he hardly pushed back and agreed with a lot.
When Von asked the mayor what Socialism truly means, Mamdani said a whole lot of broken promises that sound good on paper, like affordable child care and housing, while failing to point to the historical record on how much misery and death it has caused.
“They always give the pitch, and it sounds good,” Crowder said.
The following day, Mamdani took to X to give his two cents on the Cornell case and said, “The allegations in the Cornell sexual assault case are deeply disturbing and gut-wrenching. Cornell University has failed this survivor. I fully support Governor Hochul's decision to name Attorney General James as special prosecutor in this case.”
This only makes sense if you ignore the evidence that suggests she willingly requested and did drugs off the bodies of the boys, and said nothing illegal and nothing nonconsensual occurred. She only mentioned sexual assault after she was disinvited by a party.
“Do we know the exact case? No. But we certainly have enough to not draw the conclusions that Cornell University has failed this ‘survivor.’ It is going to be ‘me too’ all over again. Woke 2.0 is going to be far worse, only this time the left has more power in the courts and has seen how they can abuse it. They realize that wokeness is unpopular, so they are going to hide it. Their strategy is to hide it and force it through subversively because it was rejected,” Crowder said. “Where does Socialism go when you don't have the mandate through the masses? Not that it makes it right for enough people to vote to steal something from someone else. But their social agenda, which is inextricably tied to Socialism, has been deeply unpopular. So, the ‘me too’ has to be framed as just a legal argument, not the court of public opinion, but that the school has failed them.”
Crowder added, “If the left has power, it is not just that you will have open borders, it is not just that they will change the census, it is not just that your vote will mean nothing, and I mean it, your vote will mean nothing in the face of 50 million third-worlders whose votes have been purchased. You will lose your right to speak. You will lose your right to parent. It will belong to the village. And you will lose your right to fight back because they will remove that platform. Your voice will mean nothing.”
