Whenever anyone asks me what I think of Donald Trump, I give a noncommittal response, which I may have already shared here: “He’s a mixed bag.” Well this segment of Trump talking about socialism in Venezuela is a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.
“The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented.”
Right on the bunny meat.
Trump’s statements of “We need to advance democracy and political freedom etc.” got applause. But “Socialism is the problem”?
But we can’t blame them, it’s an awkward feeling for a former reality TV show star to take your favorite talking point (“Socialism just hasn’t been done right by the right people!”) and shove it so far up your rectal cavity, proctologists everywhere are bidding for the patent rights.
Should’ve read all the way through their editions of “How to be a socialist shilling schiesters” but I guess all the copies were used to set fires and cook dogs for dinner. Nom, nom, Fido sure does hit the spot.
Trump cowed the UN with a simple truth. It’s not that socialism isn’t working in Venezuela, it’s that it is working. Perfectly. And what we’re seeing is the desired outcome of socialist pushing gangsters: misery for all, riches for the elites up top. But hey, that equality tho.
The needs of the many don’t matter if everyone is equally poor, destitute, and the government runs absolutely everything all in the name of fairness. Also, before you say “But, but, Democratic socialism is totes different.” Don’t be an ass. Click the play button and find enlightenment.
