Sophie Cunningham calls on the WNBA to "grow up" and act more like men when the audience is being mean to them

The WNBA was never a real business. It was never predicated on selling tickets, growing a sport, or attracting sports fans as much as it was about giving ESPN and other journalsimers an excuse to virtue signal. Then Caitlin Clark came along, and it all went to poop, because now people who like sports want to give the WNBA a shot. The players hate them doing so.
At least, outside of players on the Indiana Fever, who were happy to now be playing in front of more than tens of people.
Sophie Cunningham has a solution. The players need to man up and not act like such b*tches all the time. I'm paraphrasing her addressing one specific incident that she viewed as part of a bigger problem.
You know how yesterday Josh Allen literally threw away the Bills game (not that the defense didn't help), and is getting blasted for it yet taking it like a man?
Compare that to the Fever playing whatever team Aja Wilson is on. There was a foul. Someone in the crowd pointed at Wilson and said "That's on you."
You see, sports fans, when they buy a ticket for an event, will sometimes criticize the players or root against them on behalf of the home team they bought the ticket for.
Wilson called it threatening and had the referee throw the guy out.
It's not the first time a WNBA player has had their feelings hurt, couldn't calm down about it, and had a fan ejected. Cunningham wants to know what the deuce the league is doing?
If they're gonna demand to be treated the same way as men, they need to man up. Also, grow up. And she speaks from experience, because she has been sh*t on more than any other player this season, what with her controversial belief that love is love, but men shouldn't be competing against women in sports.
“Like grow up, what are we doing? We ask all these things and then once people come out and support us, we get mad and then its inappropriate” -- Sophie on the pointing incident with the Fever fan in Game 2 🚨🚨🚨NEW EP JUST DROPPED EVERYWHERE 🚨🚨🚨🚨 https://t.co/CIEPGEPjcC

She's right. If you want to be considered a real sport, that comes with real sports fans. Real sports fans are sometimes very excited to support their teams, and that sometimes involves them saying not-nice things to the opposing teams. I'm talking about the actual things they say. Not the terrible things that Indiana Fever fans get accused of saying, yet no one can ever provide any video or evidence of them doing so.
Maybe Sophie Cunningham should be the new WNBA commissioner.
Or, the league can stay a glorified tax write-off for the NBA.
