Radical left-wing climate activists stormed the stage at an event in Baltimore and demanded Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg stop fossil fuel infrastructure projects.

I had no clue Buttigieg was back from maternity leave.

In a video that is very satisfying to watch, over a dozen activists from the left-wing youth-led organization, Climate Defiance, stormed the stage while Buttigieg was speaking and ran him out of the event. The climate alarmists demanded that he put an end to two proposed oil transport projects that the Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration is reviewing.

"Petro Pete is a coward. As we write he is ramming down our throats the Sea Port and GulfLink oil terminals – each worse than Keystone," Climate Defiance posted on X after the protest. "We must resist him with all we've got. And we will."

"Your DOT just approved the Seaport Oil Terminal, a project that will have 80 coal plants' worth of greenhouse gas emissions and will worsen air quality in areas that already live in cancer clusters," one of the Climate Defiance activists told Buttigieg on stage, according to Fox News. "This is about environmental racism and it's about the climate impacts this project will have. Will you commit to stopping these projects?"

Oh great, two ambiguous threats that you cannot touch or see. According to them, racism and climate change are the two invisible evils that will cause humanity's ultimate destruction.

During the protest, the climate prophets called Buttigieg "Petro Pete," demanding he "end fossil fuels," and chanting "Which side are you on, Pete?"

When the event's moderator asked about the projects the protesters mentioned, Buttigieg said he didn't want to "speak off the cuff.” But he said he respected "where they're coming from,” according to Fox News.

"I get the urgency. By the time my kids are old enough to ask, we’re going to have a really good answer to get out of climate change," he said, according to the Baltimore Banner.

"But my hope also is that some of those folks who are just here saw what happened when I was in front of the Transportation Infrastructure Committee two weeks ago trying to persuade or help the members of Congress [understand] that the seasons changing is not the same thing as climate change," Buttigieg continued. "And if this literally came up, and so we’ve got literal climate deniers… who can’t be bothered to admit that climate change is real."

I guess these activists did not get the memo that Petro Pete does care about limiting fossil fuels. That is why he rides his bike to work. You know, from across the street after it's unloaded from his SUV.

It really is hard to choose a side here. Obviously, the climate cult is one of the most revolting activist groups parading around society.

On the other hand, Buttigieg is just the worst. He is so bad in everything he does, that even the liberal lunatics see him as an embarrassment. And that says a lot.

The whole event was nothing but a clown show. First, Buttigieg showed up. That is enough of a joke there. Then, a bunch of radical climate cult freaks came and started chanting their creepy rituals.

We also know not one single of those activists actually lives a life free of fossil fuels. And I would not be surprised if they have a higher carbon footprint than most people. Since we often find out how their demands end up being worse for the environment.

But at the very least, we love it when progressives eat their own.
