There’s been a considerable lack of media attention on the Santa Fe shooting. At least, as compared to the one in Parkland. Hunter Pollack, whose sister was tragically one of the victims in Parkland’s shooting, isn’t sure why that is. Though he’s got his finger on it.
The people of Santa Fe are getting a lot less media coverage than parkland, I can’t decide if it’s:
-The agenda doesn’t fit what the media loves pushing best
-The people of Texas don’t want to be taken advantage of like seen in the past

The first choice is the obvious answer (see MSNBC Reporter Tries to Get Anti-Gun Soundbite From Santa Fe Students. Fails and Chris Cuomo Admits Santa Fe Shooting Doesn’t Fit Gun Control Narrative).
The second option is an interesting point to ponder. After every shooting, we see how the vultures in cable news and the left are quick to exploit anyone under the age of eighteen. It’s liberal core math. Tragedy + teenager = HOW DARE YOU CRITICIZE THEM YOU CONSERVATIVE MEANIEPANTS!!!!!!! I AM LITERALLY SHAKING RIGHT NOW!!!!!
But the People of Texas(TM) are rather an interesting bunch. So perhaps Hunter has made a salient point: some people aren’t interested in being exploited as victims. Especially by the anti-gun left.
Texas students simply ain’t got time for that. Frankly, anyone who uses critical thought ain’t got time for that.
