So, you know the thing the left claims never happens? Well, it is happening again.
Today, the DOJ announced that 28 foreign nationals have been charged for allegedly fraudulently registering to vote in U.S. elections. And of course, it happened in California, where the left makes it painfully easy to vote, and impossible to prove you are who you say you are.
BREAKING: Federal authorities have begun arresting 28 noncitizens accused of illegally registering to vote in the U.S., with prosecutors saying many actually cast ballots in previous elections.First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says the arrests began early this morning, with at least 11 suspects already in custody and more arrests expected. The new charges come as the DOJ reports charging 113 noncitizens across 20 states with illegal voting and registration offenses in just seven weeks."These are not isolated instances," Essayli says, revealing that the Justice Department has charged 156 people with voting fraud-related offenses since the administration began, adding that federal authorities are investigating thousands of additional potential cases nationwide.

Federal law enforcement throughout California today arrested 11 foreign nationals living in the United States who are among 28 total charged in criminal complaints with federal crimes, including that they fraudulently registered to vote in U.S. elections, electoral contests in which most of them cast illegal and fraudulently obtained ballots.
All 28 foreign nationals charged are lawful permanent residents (LPRs), or “green card” holders. Although LPRs have legal immigration status in the United States, they are not U.S. citizens and are not permitted to vote in U.S. elections.
Unsurprisingly, the federal government informed the state that it believed these individuals were unqualified to vote in federal elections, and asked officials to set aside their ballots until that status could be confirmed. Of course, officials refused, and now this story exists. If you are surprised by this, you are not paying attention.
On Oct. 13, the federal government provided a list of these individuals to California to ensure that their vote-by-mail ballots were set aside until these individuals’ citizenship status could be confirmed. California declined to assist the federal government in setting aside their ballots, prompting a lawsuit by the United States that seeks a court order to prevent the unlawful dilution of American citizens’ votes and to uphold the integrity of our elections.
“Every illegal vote cancels out the vote of a lawful American citizen,” said Acting Deputy Attorney General Trent McCotter. This is an understatement and precisely why the left must take the integrity of this nation’s election far more seriously.
If I did not know any better, I might just say that the left would take these crimes more seriously if they benefited the other side. I know better, so I will not say that. That being said, it is time to make voting great again. And it looks like that pursuit will be handled with zero help from California officials. Totally predictable, yet deeply frustrating.
In the last seven weeks, Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says the government has charged 113 noncitizens across 20 states with similar crimes. To call this a threat to Democracy would be an understatement.
