Remember that Democrat official caught on video assaulting an ICE officer? ARRESTED!
Earlier this week, we reported on a viral video showing Worcester City Councilor Etel Haxhiaj assaulting ICE agents while they were doing their job.
Despite the left’s claim that no human is illegal, that’s simply not true. It’s something to remember before breaking the law in the name of supporting lawlessness. Because two wrongs don’t make a right—and Haxhiaj is about to learn that the hard way.
Haxhiaj is now being charged with assaulting police officers.
BREAKING: Massachusetts City Councilor Etel Haxhiaj has been charged for assaulting police during an ICE raid
She’s charged with a misdemeanor count of assault and battery on a police officer and a common law violation of interfering with a police officer.

According to CBS:
According to the criminal complaint, Haxhiaj repeatedly identified herself as a Worcester city councilor and was observed "pulling the restraints of the arrested as they were being escorted to the transport vehicle."
Police said Haxhiaj ignored requests to move away from the vehicle and allegedly pushed an officer away by striking them in the chest. A few minutes later, while another person was being arrested, Haxhiaj allegedly pulled the officer's arm.
Haxhiaj has been charged with assault and battery on a police officer and interfering with a police officer.
OF course, Haxhiaj claims she was solely in it to protect "the most vulnerable" and that this has "led to being targeted and vilified." She claims the assault was her way of "working to improve policing in our city by calling for oversight and accountability."
However, it’s unclear how assaulting officers and interfering with their duties protects anyone—especially when it’s comical that she thought acting like a total buffoon would make them stop the arrest
Do you know how unhinged someone has to be to think acting like that will work in their favor, especially when dealing with the police? Very, very unhinged.
Worcester Police Chief Paul Saucier said officers decided not to arrest Haxhiaj that day to "avoid inflaming the crowd."
"I support their attempt to de-escalate and their subsequent decision to charge her criminally," Saucier said. "It is important for the public to know that if someone assaults a police officer or attempts to interfere with an arrest, he or she will be charged and held accountable."
This is not rocket science. And it’s important to know that despite the councilor's claims, she was not defending some “vulnerable” individual just trying to make ends meet. The criminal alien she attacked officers over was previously arrested “for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a pregnant woman.”
Why does it seem like every time someone on the left jumps on the illegal bandwagon, they almost always end up trying to uplift the scummiest people who have committed violent crimes post facto?
Nonetheless, Haxhiaj has made it loud and clear who she intends to represent, and it certainly is not the people of Worcester.
