The official who promoted Scotland's new hate crime law? He's received MORE complaints than J.K. Rowling for his anti-white hatred
It turns out that the biggest proponents of hate speech laws are also the greatest offenders.
First Minister Humza Yousaf, who championed in support of Scotland's new hate crime law, has received more complaints than J.K. Rowling over an anti-white rant he made in 2020.
If you need more of a background on the law click here. But basically, Scotland made it illegal to hate someone.
So far there have been about 4,000 complaints and we knew the mob was going to go after Rowling for not bending a knee to the anti-women bandwagon. But it's more surprising, yet reasonable, that the majority of complaints have been towards Yousaf.
But hey, if you are going to make it illegal to hate someone you might as well start with the most hateful members of society, which are Progressives.
Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf described @jk_rowling’s tweets as “offensive and upsetting.”

Scotland passed a “hate speech” bill and on the first day received over 4,000 complaints.

The majority of them were reportedly about Humza’s anti-white racist comments.

Is this…— (@)
Since the controversial legislation was rolled out on Monday almost 4,000 complaints are said to have been made to Police Scotland, with the force reportedly dealing with 60 complaints on average per hour.
Police sources have now shed light on the nature of the hate crime complaints revealing that the majority relate to the First Minister as well as JK Rowling.
'A lot of those complaints were about Humza Yousaf, on the same complaint about his parliamentary rant,' an insider told the Sun. 'JK Rowling has had some, but not as many as Humza Yousaf.'
The speech was given in 2020, where Yousaf said:
"I am angry that in 2020 we are still dealing with overt racism, subtle racism, institutional racism and structural racism. Whatever form it takes, it is still racism."
This was in response to the death of George Floyd. It is unclear why officials in Scotland are discussing this but he clearly has a lot of “hate”.....
“Forget the racial jibes and the slurs that we still have to put up with; racism is literally killing minorities, as we have all seen, and as members have all said today. However, as every member has mentioned, racism does not exist only in the United States,” he added. “Scotland has a problem of structural racism.”
Sorry, but opinions about the U.S. from those in the U.K. have not mattered for over 200 years.
He also complained that there are not enough black elected officials, but he stopped short of acknowledging that 95.4 percent of the population is white.
If you ask me, his speech definitely sounds pretty hateful towards white people, which is the majority of people in Scotland. However, the law does not apply retroactively.
It is no surprise that the loudest proponents for dictating "hate" are the most hateful. Leftists live by their double standards and always eat their own words. And to try and destroy one's freedom of speech/expression is the most hateful thing someone can do. And the only reason they would champion such a law against their constituents is because they loathe them, which is illegal.
